July 4th

Well I guess I better hurry and post 4th of July since July is over tomorrow. For the 4th Ashley and I bought Sutton and Gage matching red, white, and blue outfits to wear. They looked so cute in them! We were going to take them to a parade but Ash kind of got the city wrong and we ended up at the wrong place :) It was a good laugh. So we went to our favorite local burger joint instead and later went to our friends house out on the lake for fireworks. Sutton slept through them of course.

Lake Chelan

Sutton, Gage, Gavin
So I guess I will play catch up for a few posts...we'll start with our trip to Chelan. When Sutton was four months a couple girlfriends and I decided to leave the dads for a few days and went to Lake Chelan. We each have a baby...ALL BOYS! Sutton and Gage are only 3 weeks apart and Gavin is a year old. The babies were so good the entire trip and it was fun to relax with the girls. We put all the little guys together and took this picture to send to the dads who were missing their babies. Aren't they all so cute in their jammies?! Lake Chelan was really pretty! I had never been there before. We had a really nice view of the lake from our condo and the town was really cute. We tried to take the babes in the pool but it wasn't that warm. Sutton went down his first slide all by himself (Ok...so he was strapped in the baby bjorn). Anyway...fun trip! Thanks Christie for taking us!

Our little miracle!

After four long months of bed rest (yes, I am still sane) our little boy, Sutton, finally arrived in Feb. He is our little miracle! We thought for sure he was going to come early! We had a few scares and spent a few days in the hospital stopping contractions. At week 35 my doc said I could add some activity into my schedule... Tim and I celebrated and went to dinner after my appt. She was also so gracious to let me completely off bed rest at 36 weeks, and of course, we all thought I was going to go straight into labor! Especially after so long of doing absolutely NOTHING I just wanted to move!! Which I did :) But he decided he wanted to stay in there a little longer and didn't come until week 38...two weeks early. We are so glad he lasted that long and was healthy. He is already such a little bugger and has such personality. We love him!! He is 4 days old in this pic.

Here we go!

Wow...If only I would have figured this blogging thing out while I was on bedrest for 4 months!! I am sure I could have passed an hour or two creating a blogspot. However, I didn't have much to post about except how short my cervix was each week... but I guess I could have kept everyone up to date on celeb gossip, sports, news and the latest trends of finger nail polish (navy blue did not look so good on me!!!). So five months post bedrest and new baby...I guess I will start our blogspot.
